A local favorite, for good reason, great icecream with a large variety of flavors and a fun classic icecream parlor feel.

Amazing place everything is home made including the cones. I just wish they would bring one to Utah! I would go all the time.

All expectations exceeded! There really is something different about this place. They also seem quite adept from a management standpoint as I have watched them provide speedy, efficient service to huge crowds on more then one occasion.

The flavors were great. The staff was great. The prices were good. I now have 3 favorite ice-cream places. Salt and Straw in Portland Or., Cow Cafe in New Bern NC., and here. Standing in line was a great way to meet new people.

Absolutely yummy. They have also an amazing vegan chocolate version which is hands down the best ever. You have to go here!

Delicious homemade ice cream. Gets busy on nice summer evenings with a very long line but that’s the sign of a good ice cream parlor.

The ice cream was pretty good. Location was cool (no pun intended.) The real standout, service. I'm not a huge sweets guy and was here as a plus one. But man, they really go the extra mile to make sure you get the right fit. I wish I cough the server's name but he took his time and answered all my questions. I could also tell that he wanted things to be just right for me and my date. Real professional and that is a rarity in today's service industry. Especially with people who are in their early 20s or lower. That service sticks out and Bonnie Brae is worth the trip in my book.

Bad customer service I was asking for two sugar cone chocolate and vanilla after waiting for a long time I only got one, by the time I explained that I asked for two not one the ice cream melted on my hand.

Bonnie Brae ice cream sells delicious ice cream. They also have a really cool way that they implemented for social distancing where you wait in a line outside, and then once it is your turn you go up to one of the 3 cashier's behind glass and order. Once you've received your ice cream you can eat it at one of the many benches outside of the store. I think this is a very efficient and safe way to sell ice cream

Employee went out and checked garbage. Picked up garbage off floor. Touched garbage can. Then WALKED RIGHT BACK IN AND STARTED TOUCHING ICE CREAM CONES AND SERVING PEOPLE. Did not wash hands! Ice cream is good though.

It was great. First time. I had peppermint and it was full of chunks of peppermint. Delicious. Only thing u have to have patience. Very long lines but worth the wait. Friendly staff. Enjoy.

please put some more cookie dough in your cookie dough ice cream it was very sparse, would be much more enjoyable with more dough vanilla was still very good though

It's good ice-cream very good service but the taste is average in my opinion. Had the triple death flavour which was ok.

The pastries and treats are wonderful. So moist and tasty.Minus one star because I'm not a fan of the coffee. Bleh. I'm a weenie when it comes to strong coffee. But I love that they have almond milk.

Oreos & Cream vegan ice cream in a big crunchy waffle cone hit the spot. Be warned: there will be a line in the evening & 98% of people didn't put their masks on until they reached the umbrellas that had little signs saying to mask up. Great ice cream cone!

Cutest little ice cream shop that I would always drive past, and I finally stopped in. Lots of delicious flavors to choose from, and they also have some cones dipped in chocolate and nuts if you want to treat yourself. I love all the seating outside; it adds to the neighborhood-y vibe. Parking isn't too bad if you park on a side street, particularly after 6pm. Really nice quality ice cream shop!

More vegan options than I've seen before! They had two sorbet flavors and two vegan ice creams that they home-make in-house. They were all delish. Also they keep them in a separate freezer which is cool. No pun intended. And the staff offered samples, checked ingredients and were very sweet... again, no pun intended! We went in November around 5pm.

Always amazing. Glad they are still open for takeout. Have been coming here for 30+ yrs. Love supporting small local owned businesses. Their ice cream, made in house is better than any gelato from any of the chains in town.

I've been coming here for over 12 years now. Some of the best icecream around and consistent. They mix in new flavors with their oldy but goodies. My personal favorite is Butter Brickle and recommend you give it a shot.

If you love ice cream and ice cream shops as much as I do, it’s easy to imagine that it would be hard to get this business wrong. As the proprietor of said shop, you’d have to try pretty hard to mess it up (though some do, sadly). Thankfully, Bonnie Brae is not one of those places; they are doing the ice cream business just right. Lots of delicious flavors from which to choose, friendly and helpful staff, quick service, and a festive atmosphere make for a very enjoyable visit.

Celebrated national ice cream day at this local joint. Excellent flavor selection. Ooo so creamy and delicious. Definitely my new favorite spot.

My childhood ice cream shop and still the best in Denver. Tons of home-made flavors and amazing waffle cones. Great neighborhood location as well. It does get very busy in the summer but they're well-staffed and you get through the line quickly. Their ice cream is well worth the wait.

Ordered online, unfortunately they don't have all the flavors and options online so I'd recommend ordering there in person. I got an ice cream sandwich and was good. Ice cream was frozen and not melted which is awesome. I'd recommend! Going back to try other flavors.

Very high quality ice cream with lots of good flavors and the banana split was well made! My wife had her FIRST BANANA SPLIT EVER with me here and loved it.

Came in because I wanted a sweet treat, boy was it! Nothing like getting your shake on and it hitting a home run. I had a cherry shake with chocolate chips and it was so thick and creamy....yumm.

Always a great stop. However with a little renovation they could improve the traffic flow and speed up service - example - redesign from one door way to an in door on Ohio street and an out door on University. Extend the service counter around the entire interior with check out counter at the University exit door. Check it out

Consistently one of our favorite places for ice cream! They are going above and beyond to keep their customer's safe during Covid. They've recently added online ordering which is convenient. I hope this charming shop stays in the neighborhood forever!

This was a fun visit while we were in town. We aren't from Denver but visited Bonnie Brae Ice Cream based on a referral from someone. The ice cream was excellent! The staff was friendly and patient with our many children and all of our requests for samples before we decided. It was an all-around great experience!

The new order system is much more efficient then pre-covid days. Three windows and a scooping team behind them. You get the delicious creamy ice cream much faster then the old way of crowding in the store and the inpatient people trying to cut the line. I found one good thing out of the Pandemic. ..Ice cream in my mouth quicker

Best ice cream I've ever had and I've been eating here for years. Everytime I go somewhere else now, I am disappointed because it cannot complete at all with Bonnie Brae. There's also ALWAYS a new flavor to try and they are very reliable when it comes to favorite flavors. Even flavors I am not fond of are somehow delicious at Bonnie Brae. I don't think I will ever find another ice cream shop halfway as delicious as Bonnie Brae. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Great ice cream, friendly staff, and plenty of sidewalk space to social distance and enjoy, before heading back to Aurora!
